Target Outlet

My entire outfit is brand new clothing from Target purchased from Goodwill.  Is it just my area Goodwill or have the stores turned into Target Outlets?

This post isn't to be gross but why do people have to fart in the elevator before they walk out?  Really?  You can't wait 2 more seconds to get into an open area?  You make it awful for the person that gets on after you.  Thanks white haired man for the awful ride this afternoon.

Grandpa

It has been exactly a week since I've lost one of the most important men in my life, my Grandpa.

Memories of him have been flooding back to me in this past week.....

Getting ride after ride on the lawnmower trailer

Listening to 'Yes Sir, That's My Baby' so many times, I still know the words

Looking out our parents window and seeing him sitting in his lawn chair taking a nap on the front porch

Hearing the bell ring (which meant feeding time for the dogs)

Him saying 'Bah Humbug' every Christmas

Watching 'The Lawrence Welk Show' and dancing around

He may of looked his age of 95 years old but he sure didn't act like it!  He was full of life, jokes and always had a belly full of food.  We always wondered how he could eat so much but stay so skinny!  The last meal of his life was his favorite food, ice cream.

The Lord blessed my family so much in giving us those last special days but also giving him no pain.  He is now in a perfect body with the love of his life, Betty.

Snow Day

I hope everybody had the chance to experience snow this Winter.  So beautiful!

Puppies

Well, I figured out what I want to do with my life.....take pictures of puppies.  Little puppies, fat puppies, slobbery puppies, really any kind of puppies.  Since I've gotten my new camera that is all I've done.

My sister was at the hospital last night with my Grandpa who is 95 years old and got a bad case of the stomach flu.  So, last night I babysat my nephew Mason and we had a great time....

The cutest thing of the night was when we were driving to my house and he was telling me how Grandpa Skeeter was sick.  We decided to say a prayer.

I started the prayer and he repeated every word I said and he ended it with 'Thank you Jesus'.  It just made my heart swell.

Baby Shower

My sister Anna is due next month with her first baby!  And it's a girl!  After 2 years of my nephew, who is ALL boy....a girl will be a nice change.

Yesterday we hosted her baby shower at my house with a tea party theme.  It turned out so cute and everybody had a great time!

Also, HAPPY BIRTHDAY ANNA!
