Kauai Part 1

Kauai by far was our favorite island.  We had serious conversations, after a couple of drinks, late at night, sitting on the beach, about moving here.  I honestly think everybody has this conversation in Kauai.  Little did we know that there was already something happening that would prevent us from ever thinking about moving to Kauai again. :)

The people were wonderful and way better than on Maui.  Food not as good as Maui but still wonderful.  I have dreams about that shrimp po' boy sandwich from Trees.  Yum!

We will go back to Kauai one of these days and will definitely stay closer to the North Shore.  The beautiful beach pictures above are from Hanalei Bay, our favorite spot in all Hawaii.  The pictures do not do the waves justice.  They were killer with a huge current.  Biggest waves I have ever seen and we would told by the locals that in the winter time the best surfers from all over the world come to Hanalei Bay.  That is definitely something I would love to witness!

Maui Part 1

We are officially husband and wife and back from our honeymoon! The wedding was everything that we imagined and the honeymoon was even better.  I have SO many pictures from Hawaii (600 to be exact) so I am going to split them up into sections.

First up is Maui.....WOW, what can I possibly say about Maui!  I think the pictures say it all.

Loves the Camera

Saying that Gracie loves the camera is a bit of an understatement.  She L-O-V-E-S the camera.  As soon as that camera is in front of her face....BAM....smile and pose.

Weekend Recap

Yes, that is a trailer with chairs.  Redneck Limousine!

This 4th of July is one that I will never forget.

ALL of the family showing up to celebrate Grandpa Fred's 85th Birthday.  Man, the food was good!

Taking our normal caravan golf cart ride but with a special redneck twist this year (this will be a new tradition!).

Seeing a fish hook go straight through someones thumb with no way of getting out (always a hospital trip on the 4th of July).

Getting my FIRST tan line of the summer.

After 5 years, Leo has finally snapped at somebody.  Unfortunately, it was a family member.

Laughing so much, I could of peed my pants.

Seeing my sexy husband play music.

A new generation setting off the fireworks (good job baby!).

For once in my life after 4 days of being gone, I was NOT ready to go home.
