Congratulations

One of the greatest pleasures in life is seeing your friends and family happy.  Well, this weekend I got to witness the marriage of one of my best friends and it was such a wonderful feeling.  Congratulations, Kara and Trent!

Deer Cam

I had to share some of these pictures cause I thought they were too cute and funny.  This is Danny's deer camera that he set up a couple of weeks ago to figure out where the deer are on our land so when hunting season comes he knows where to put his tree stand.

The Office Quote of the Day

Shirt:  Thrifted - $3.00, Jeggings:  Walmart - $7.00, Boots:  Wet Seal - $5.00, Necklace:  DIY

Stanley:  So, do they bring in food?  Or do you get to go out?

Toby:  No, they bring it in.

Stanley:  You lucky son of a bitch....I have been trying to get on jury duty every single year since I was eighteen years old.  To get to go sit in an air-conditioned room downtown, judging people while my lunch is paid for.  That is the life.

Sleepy

After a horrible night of sleep and along with a cold rainy day today, I just wanted to wear something comfortable and warm.  Hopefully the weather and my mood will brighten before the weekend is done.

Watch

Does anybody else have a ton of watches but known of them work?  I was going through my watches this morning and out of about 10 only 1 actually worked.  I guess when you have a phone, computer and clocks around then what is really the point of wearing a watch.

Lucky

The Midwest may not have mountains or oceans, but we still have beauty.  Even though most of our beauty consists of miles and miles of corn or bean fields, I am lucky enough to live right next to the Great River Road.

We enjoyed a nice leisurely cruise on Sunday to enjoy the beautiful weather and view.  Every time Danny and I take a cruise together on the River Road our discussion turns to Indians.  Danny always pictures an Indian standing at the end of a bluff point with a long arrow looking out over the river for intruders.  Of course, I imagine Pocahontas with her friendly raccoon singing 'Colors of the Wind'.  I guess that is where the difference between boys and girls lay.

Gingham

Shirt:  Thrifted - $1.50, Tee:  Target, Jeans:  Thrifted - $3.99, Boots: Thrifted - $1.50
This was my gingham shirt from my June Wish List that I am finally getting around to wearing.  What I have found with a lot of button up shirts is that they don't fit around my chest area.   This shirt is no different so it requires an undershirt underneath.  I would love to be able to button this up but you can't alter everything.
