So Happy



As you can tell from the below pictures, the dogs just can't contain their excitement that we will officially become a family.  If only I could convince their Dad to let them be in the wedding. I mean come on, their coloring is just perfect.

August 22, 2012 is a day that I will never forget.  It was the day that my one true love proposed to me.

 

 

Vacation

I'm getting to the point at work where I need a vacation. Like a week long, book filled, no phone, sit on a beach for hours kind of vacation.  Danny and I go back and forth about if it's worth the money.  Me being on the YES! side wants to go somewhere as soon as possible.  What is the point of working for a living if you can't take a week and enjoy life?

Jean and Jean

I have never been a fan of jean on jean until this year.  Tastes can change right?  One thing that will never change for me is a brown belt with black boots or vice versa.  That just won't ever fly with me.

This was my morning conversation with our campus cook while I was getting my breakfast BLT (oh yeah, BLT for breakfast is amazing!).

Cook:  Are you excited for the weekend?

Me:  Yes, very.

Cook:   Me too.

Cook:  I like your chain.

Me:  You like what?

Cook:  Your chain.  It looks like a chandelier.

Me:  Oh, my necklace.  Thanks.

The Office Quote of the Day

Dress:  Thrifted - $2.49, Boots:  JCPenney - $14.99

Andy:  Oh my gosh, you have the "Dallas" board game?

Kevin:  Yeah.  When I was a kid, I was on "Dallas."

Andy:  Really?

Kevin:  Yeah.  We missed our connecting flight and we spent the entire day on Dallas.  And we spent a week on Hawaii.  I was on heaven.

Not quite a dress

Dress:  Old Navy, Jeggings:  Walmart - $7.00, Boots:  Wet Seal - $5.00, Belt:  Thrifted - $0.99

This was supposed to be worn as a dress today until I bent down to get my boots and Woah! I was wearing it as a dress no more.  So I threw on a pair of my favorite jeggings underneath.  I can't put into words my love for jeggings.....they stretch but are also tight, they make your legs look skinny, they can be wore with any kind of shoe, they are my soul mate.
