Those boots were made for walking

Shirt:  Target - $4.98, Sweater:  FREE, Jeans:  NY&C - $7.99, Boots:  Wet Seal - $4.99
So, it has been 2 1/2 months since purchasing anything new and I'm surprised at how easy it has been.  I rarely go to malls anymore, unless it is with someone who can keep me from temptation.  Shoes have been the hardest part of all of this.  The shoes in thrift stores are just gross!  It is very hard to find a decent pair that is my size.  Luckily, I already have a lot of shoes that I have gotten over the years and since my shoe size hasn't changed since middle school, I never get rid of them.  When I start packing up my closet, I may have to take a count and see how many I have.  I just won't tell Danny what the total is!

Scare Attack

Turtleneck:  Old Navy - $4.00, Blazer:  Thrifted - $1.99, Pants:  Target - $4.98, Boots:  Thrifted - $3.00

Does anybody else scare people in their office?  Me and two co-workers have a running prank where we try to scare eachother.  Of course, there have been some innocent bystanders who have become victims.  You very awkwardly say "sorry, I was trying to scare somebody else."  All three of us are now extremely jumpy and very aware of our surroundings.  I have mastered the scaring technique and figured out that planned attacks do not work as great as the unexpected crouch down behind your desk and jump out.  It works everytime!

Need a Good Laugh?

Sweater:  Thrifted - $1.50, Jeggings:  Walmart - $7.00, Boots:  JCPenney - $15.00
If you have seen Rob Dyrdek's show Fantasy Factory on MTV then you know how addicting it can be.  I watched it for 2 straight hours last night and laughed the whole time.  He is a natural comedian who thinks of crazy antics.  Last night, one of the episodes was when he wrote a musical for his cousin Drama's 25th B-day.  It was absolutely hilarious!  If you need a good laugh, I highly recommend watching an episode of Fantasy Factory.

Happy Late Easter

Shirt:  Cato - $4.00, Skirt:  Thrifted - $1.99, Belt:  Thrifted - $0.50

This skirt was a really good find.  No sewing needed and it is one of my favorite brands, New York & Company.  Danny said that as we were walking through church to take our seat he heard a girl say "aw, I like that skirt."  If she only knew how much I paid for it.

I hope everyone enjoyed their Easter weekend as much as I did. And if you had a three-day weekend like me.  Welcome back to work!

You know you need to start working out when.....

Sweater:  Thrifted - $3.00, Jeans:  Thrifted - $2.99, Shoes:  Thrifted - $3.00

You know you need to start working out when....

After 3 days of painting, you can barely walk and function from being so sore. Your body is so wore down that you are starting to get a sore throat which will inevitably lead to strep.  You have a random rash that is starting to spread on your stomach and back.  Your eyes have been so sore that you've been wearing your glasses most of the time.  It's sad when 5 days of work has done all of this to me.

Hectic

Shirt:  Target - $4.00, Sweater:  Thrifted - $1.50, Jeans:  NY&C - $7.99, Bracelet:  Thrifted - $1.00

My life has been full of hectic days along with hectic nights.  Cuddle time late at night with the pups in bed.....Leo's final countdown has begun for being an inside dog.  Decisions, prepping, painting, taping, cleaning, weed pulling, trimming, mowing, packing and everyday life has just wore me down.  Late last night as we were painting, I told Danny that I better at least lose some weight from all this work or it is just not worth it.

Lucky Thrifter

See what thrifting can get you here. I think I will look at more than the clothes the next time I go into a thrift store.
